Cookie Policy
Last updated: 23 May 2026
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use comparable technologies (local storage, session storage) for similar purposes. This policy uses the word "cookies" to refer to all of them.
Under the UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), we may only set non-essential cookies on your device with your consent. You give that consent through the banner shown on your first visit to one of our sites, and you can change it at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
2. Cookie categories we use
We group cookies into three categories:
- Strictly necessary — required to operate the Service securely. These are always on; the law allows them without consent.
- Functional — remember choices you have made (e.g. cart contents). Optional, off by default.
- Analytics — help us and clubs understand how people use the sites so we can improve them. Optional, off by default.
We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising or third-party marketing tracking.

Analytics
On a club's ticketing and event pages, the club may enable Google Analytics. When you have consented to analytics cookies, those pages load Google's gtag script which sets the standard _ga and _ga_* cookies in your browser, used by the club to measure traffic to their events. The club is the data controller for these analytics; their own privacy notice will describe how they use the data.
If you have not consented, gtag is not loaded and these cookies are not set.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics (loaded by a club) | Distinguish unique users | 2 years |
_ga_<property> | Google Analytics (loaded by a club) | Maintain session state | 2 years |
ApexGo does not run its own analytics on the dashboard at dashboard.apexgo.co.uk. We may add anonymous product analytics to the marketing site at apexgo.co.uk in future, behind the same consent banner.
4. Third-party cookies set during payment
When you check out, payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe's checkout components are loaded from js.stripe.com and Stripe sets its own cookies on its own domain for fraud prevention and session continuity. These are essential to processing the payment and are governed by Stripe's cookie notice.
5. Managing your choices
On our sites:open "Cookie preferences" in the footer of any page. You can turn analytics and functional cookies on or off at any time. Your choice is remembered for 12 months.
In your browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Doing so may break sign-in, cart and other essential features. Instructions for major browsers:
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no industry consensus on how to respond to it. We treat DNT as an opt-out from optional analytics cookies on the same footing as our consent banner default.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when we add or remove cookies. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the current version. If a change is material, we will re-prompt the consent banner.
