What football clubs struggle with
Cash on the gate
Buckets of coins, no record of who came in, and a queue building before kick-off. Cash gates are slow, hard to reconcile, and a security headache on a cold Saturday.
No online presence
Fixtures and prices live on a Facebook post or a WhatsApp group. New supporters can't find how to buy, and nothing about it looks like the club.
Season tickets in a spreadsheet
Renewals chased by hand, payments tracked in a column, and no easy way to check who's a member at the turnstile.
A clunky matchday
Paper tickets, manual lists and no quick way to scan supporters in means longer queues and a worse experience for the people who turn up every week.
The all-in-one fix for football clubs
Your own branded club site
A microsite in your crest and colours where supporters buy matchday tickets and season passes — it looks like the club, on your own web address, not a third-party marketplace.
Matchday tickets online
Publish each fixture, set adult, concession and junior prices, and sell in advance or on the day. Supporters pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay in a few taps.
Digital season passes
Sell and renew season tickets online, with each pass a scannable QR that validates at the gate. No printing, no spreadsheet, no chasing.
QR scanning at the gate
Scan supporters in from a phone, with live counts as they arrive. Faster entry, an accurate gate figure, and a record of who attended every match.
Built for football clubs
From the cash bucket to the cloud
Most football clubs below the professional leagues still run matchday on cash and goodwill. It works, just about, but it costs the club money and time: coins to count and bank, no record of attendance, slow queues, and season tickets tracked in a spreadsheet that nobody quite trusts. ApexGo is built to replace all of that with something supporters recognise and a committee can actually run.
The starting point is a branded club site — your crest, your colours, your web address — where supporters buy matchday tickets and season passes. There's no marketplace branding and no "powered by" badge; to a supporter it simply looks like the club. Behind it, every sale lands in one dashboard, so the treasurer can see exactly what came in from the gate, by match, in real time.
One platform for the whole club
Because ApexGo is more than ticketing, it can grow with the club. Sell tickets at the gate, run the clubhouse bar on the same till, sell shirts and scarves from a merch shop, and manage memberships and season passes — all from one account. The same QR that gets a season-ticket holder through the turnstile can unlock member-only pricing in the shop or priority on a cup-final ballot.
Getting started is deliberately simple. Sign up free, add your crest and colours, list your fixtures with the prices you already use, and share the link. On matchday, a volunteer scans supporters in from a phone. The Starter plan costs nothing, ApexGo takes 1% + 10p per paid ticket, and there's no contract — so a club can try it for one match and decide with real numbers in front of it.
Frequently asked questions
Is ApexGo really free for grassroots clubs?
Yes. The Starter plan is free, so a grassroots club can build its site, list fixtures and start selling at no monthly cost. ApexGo only charges 1% + 10p per paid ticket, and free tickets are free. Paid plans (£49/mo and £99/mo) add more for bigger clubs, but you never need them to get going.
Can it handle season tickets and renewals?
Yes. You can sell season passes online, set the price tiers you use (adult, concession, junior), and supporters renew themselves each season. Each pass is a scannable QR, so the turnstile knows instantly whether someone is a valid season-ticket holder.
Does it work for away allocations?
You can set a capacity for any match or ticket type, including a capped allocation for away supporters, and sales stop automatically when it's reached. You always have a live count of how many have sold and how many have scanned in.
Can we offer concession and junior pricing?
Yes — set as many ticket types and prices as you need per match, including adult, concession (over-65 or student), junior and under-age-free. Each shows clearly at checkout and is counted separately in your reporting.
Do we need a club website already?
No. ApexGo gives you a branded microsite in your crest and colours as part of the platform, so even a club with only a Facebook page gets a proper home for fixtures and ticket sales on its own web address.
How do supporters get in on matchday?
Each ticket or season pass is a QR code on the supporter's phone (or printed). A volunteer scans it at the gate from any phone, it validates instantly, and you get a live, accurate attendance figure — no paper lists.
